Kelly has taught a variety of classes and learners in schools, higher education, university, and the leisure sector for almost 20 years.
Kelly has earned her living writing creatively in both own business’, corporate, and independent businesses for the best part of their working life.
Five years ago, Kelly decided that the energy wasted convincing herself she didn’t want to be ‘a novel writer’ could be better spent using the craft studied as an undergrad and begin writing! Since this epiphany she has gained distinctions in postgraduate studies of creative writing and pedagogy and now works as a full-time writer, tutor and PhD Horrorresearcher.
All while attempting to source the secret alchemy behind balancing horror with comedy for her latest novel: a murder spree which takes place during a 7th birthday party, where Mum believes the biggest fear is that, there aren’t enough sausage rolls to go round.
Creative Hat – Kitto
Send me a message – email@example.com
Kitto has taught a variety of classes and learners in schools, higher education, university, and the leisure sector for around 10 years.
Kitto has spent years developing and working on audio dramas, writing for graphic novel and comic projects, and more recently working on tv pilots, short form documentaries, and VR filmmaking.
In the past Kitto spent a great deal of time preparing for a job in the space industry as a satellite engineer. However after burning out early on with the sciences, and a brief stint of thinking being a lawyer would be a good idea, Kitto pivoted to creative writing completing a degree and then MA in film and TV.
Kitto is currently working on a science-fiction horror audio drama series called “Tartarus”, a graphic novel called “Captive”, an as of yet untitled web show, and a PhD in virtual reality filmmaking and environmental narrative design exploring legal and medical experiences of transgender people in the UK.
